Description
STELLA MARIS is a magnificent example of the classic Moody 33 MK II.
Designed by Primrose Angus and built by Marine Projects Ltd., it was first introduced in 1973. It was Moody’s first project specifically designed to be mass produced and quickly became very popular.
The Moody 33 went through some changes and remained in production until the end of 1983. The MK I models were built until 1976 and the Mk II, from 1976-1981.
The Moody 33 has an exceptional interior space, consisting on a living room with a large folding table that opens the entire width of the lounge, the port kitchen and a starboard navigation table. At the bow there is a cabin with a double bed and a complete bathroom with hot and cold pressurized water.
At the center of the vessel is the cockpit, with the rudder wheel, navigation instruments and equipment to control the canopy. Laterally, under the benches, there are two large storage spaces. The engine is easily accessed from a hatch on the ground and hatches at the front and rear ends of the compartments.
At the stern there is another room, spacious and comfortable, with two single beds and a cabinet with washbasin.
